Case studies

Case studies that show the problem, the work and the result

Portfolio pages show examples of work at a glance. Case studies go deeper: what needed to change, how the work was approached, and what became clearer, easier or more useful afterwards.

Deeper project stories

Not just another portfolio page

This page is for the practical story behind selected Crawford Software Works projects. It explains the challenge, the solution and the outcome rather than only listing screenshots, technologies or project names.

Some client details need to be summarised for privacy, especially where websites, portals, dashboards or database systems involve internal business processes. The useful part is still the thinking: what problem had to be solved and why that approach made sense.

A new business with a growing portfolio

Why our case studies are still growing

Crawford Software Works was founded in March 2026, so our public portfolio is still growing. That does not mean we are new to web design, software development or technical problem-solving — it simply means the business itself is new and we are building our public case studies as projects are completed.

We would rather show a smaller number of genuine examples than fill this page with invented examples, exaggerated claims or work that cannot be properly verified. As more client projects go live, this portfolio will be updated with real examples, outcomes and lessons learned.

For now, the best way to judge Crawford Software Works is by our approach: clear communication, practical advice, honest pricing, careful technical work and websites or systems built around real business needs.

Honest proof

Some useful work cannot be shown in full

Not every strong project can be published as a full public example. Internal tools, customer portals, databases, admin panels and workflow systems often involve private data or commercial processes.

Where details need to stay private, Crawford Software Works can still explain the type of problem, the approach and the outcome without exposing sensitive client information.

Helpful questions

Questions about case studies

Can Crawford Software Works build something similar?

Yes, if the problem, budget and timescale are a good fit. The first step is explaining what the website or system needs to do.

Why are some examples anonymised?

Some projects involve private client workflows, business data or commercial details, so public summaries are sometimes safer than full screenshots.

Are case studies only for websites?

No. Case studies can cover websites, clean custom builds, admin panels, portals, dashboards, databases, automation and ongoing improvements.

Should I read portfolio or case studies first?

Use the portfolio for a quick overview. Use case studies when you want to understand the practical thinking behind a project.

Want to discuss a similar problem?

Send a short outline of what you want to improve. Crawford Software Works can suggest whether you need a simple website, a WordPress-style build, a clean custom website, a web app, a database system or ongoing support.
